Wedding-inspired Christmas gift ideas for the engaged couple in 2020.

At Bridal Hair in Hampshire, we’re gearing up for a Christmas that will hopefully lift everyone’s spirits and create some wonderful memories – because, let’s face it, there hasn’t been much opportunity for that so far in 2020!

If you were planning on having your wedding this year, but are having to delay, then it’s even more important to have a Christmas you’ll never forget.

This year, I think it’s safe to say, gifting is going to be more about giving an experience than a material present. Would you agree?

So, I thought I would help steer you in the right direction when it comes to buying for your fiancée… My top 5 wedding-inspired Christmas gift experience ideas will hopefully help keep the excitement of the upcoming wedding burning, whilst also giving the lovely lady in question a chance to chill-out, relax, and enjoy some much needed quality time with you or some hard-to-come-by me-time!

1. Beauty treatments

The beauty regime of the wedding morning is unlike that of any other day. On this morning, your soon-to-be-wife will hopefully feel more beautiful and more confident than on any other day. This is a sacred day on which the most effort will be made… But why shouldn’t they feel this special every day? Take a look at what specialist treatments their favourite make-up artist offers, or local make-up artist Teresa Jolly’s website, for inspiration?

2. Flower-arranging

Everyone has probably either given or received flowers at some point in their life. They’re a classic gift for your fiancée, and always go down a treat. But why not take this one step further by gifting her a flower arranging class? It’s easy to see that flower-arranging helps you learn how to prettify your home for years to come, but it’s also a great way to prep for the wedding: find out which flowers work beautifully together, in the way that your bride-to-be has envisioned. She can smell them, select her favourite colours, and then put together a stunning bouquet that brings together all your wedding inspo.

My suggestions are:
Little Lillies
Jo Hicks Flowers
Pomp and Petals

3. Afternoon tea or dinner at your chosen venue

Nothing gets you in the wedding zone like being in the place in which it’s all destined to happen! If you’ve been waiting a while for the stars to align so your perfect day can take place, having a relaxed meal at your venue will surely refresh the excitement. Contact your chosen venue to see what they offer. Or, if you haven’t yet found your venue, take a look at my featured wedding suppliers for some inspiration.

4. ‘Style and Pamper,’ or ‘Style, Brows, and Lashes’ Session with Bridal Hair in Hampshire

This year, for the first time, I’ve released two different Gift Experience vouchers. Whether your fiancée has her bridal hairstyle sorted or not, this session can be used before any event in the coming year, or just to brighten up a rainy Saturday if she would prefer! It’s an opportunity for her to be expertly styled, and, with a style tutorial after, she’ll go away with the know-how to recreate the look at home. It’s the gift of confidence and great style that will last a lifetime! Opt for the Style, Brows, and Lashes Experience to include a HD Brows and Lash Lift session with expert MUA Teresa Jolly! Read more about the experiences here.

5. Bridal hair gift voucher

If you know for sure that your bride-to-be wants professional styling on her wedding day, then why not contribute towards her dream bridal look with a gift voucher. You can ensure she gets the professional expertise that she’s got her heart set on, while giving her the freedom to choose her own style. Take a look at my vouchers here.
