3 Valentine’s Gift Ideas for Her
Sorting Valentine’s Day in lockdown
With shops around the country closed indefinitely, it’s likely that shopping for that special Valentine’s gift this year is going to be a little tricky, especially if you’re not a fan of online retail.
So, to make things a little easier, I’ve put together a list of my 3 favourite ideas that will tick all the right boxes and help you shop local.
Shopping local has never been more important. The number of businesses that have closed recently has been heartbreaking. Valentine’s Day is a fantastic time to give our favourite businesses a much-needed boost to carry them through the next few months. Even if my gift ideas don’t grab you, have a think about what’s local to you, who you can support, and what difference you can make.
1. Beauty treatment voucher
With make-up artists and salons currently closed, it’s been a while since anyone has been able to enjoy those treatments that, for some, help us reset normality every month! Find out which beauty treatments she likes, and purchase a voucher with a local make-up artist. Not only is it personal to her and shows you pay attention, it also gives her something to look forward to.
2. Home delivery afternoon teas
There are a number of local businesses that have started doing delivery or takeaway afternoon teas over the last year. Not only is this a great way to enjoy a few treats together (perhaps even set it up on a cake stand like this one!) it reflects what we all now know is the most important thing: making time for each other, catching up, and appreciating each other’s company. Why not also set the table with roses and champagne?
3. ‘Be My Valentine’
This year, I’m offering a Valentine’s bundle that brings three different gift ideas together: beauty, flowers, and fizz! The bundle includes a £50 voucher towards any hairstyling service with Bridal Hair in Hampshire, making it the perfect gift for your fiancée – what better gift for a bride-to-be than a contribution towards her dream bridal look? Top this off with a beautiful bouquet from local florist Pomp and Petals and a bottle of Prosecco at her hair appointment, and you’ve got every angle covered! Click here to discover more.
